Herschel Grammar School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of English to join an established and experienced English Faculty covering a colleague on maternity leave. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive, collaborative team, committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning. All our pupils take GCSE English and English Literature.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging English lessons that inspire a love of reading, writing, and literature.
Monitor, assess, and support student progress in line with departmental and school policies.
Contribute to the wider life of the department and school.
Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
