Central Team – working across both school sites

Start date: 22 AUGUST 2022

The Schelwood Multi-Academy Trust is an exciting and innovative partnership of two coeducational secondary schools located in Slough, Berkshire. Herschel Grammar is a selective school and Beechwood a community school both founding partners.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a team of IT Technicians to join our Trust and work across both school sites. Successful candidates will provide day to day first line support to our staff and students both face to face and remotely. You would be the first port of call for technical support and maintenance of the schools’ IT systems including hardware, software and peripherals. You would assist in providing solutions to problems and resolving issues that are logged on the schools’ IT support ticketing system.

We welcome applications from individuals who are passionate about IT and want to extend their skills in this area or those candidates wishing to develop in this field. Salary will be commensurate with experience and full training will be provided.

We are committed to providing equality of opportunity and to ensure that all members of the Trust school community experience an ethos of fairness, justice and dignity. We recognise, welcome and respect diversity.

If you are a colleague who thrives in such a context then we would welcome your contact and application to join us.

For further details and an application pack please contact Karen Crump, Trust HR Manager via email to or by telephone to 01753 520473.

Informal discussions and visits to our schools are always welcome.

Deadline for applications: Monday 4 July 2022

We reserve the right to appoint before the closing date for an exceptional candidate.

The Schelwood Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
