Slough Young Carers Action Day
Today is Young Carer’s action day.
Please find attached some information relating to support for anyone who is a young carer, along with a definition of what constitutes a young carer.
The support is offered through Aik Saath and there are details in the attached document about how to access such support and the referral process.
If you would like to discuss support in school for anyone who is or who maybe a young carer, please feel free to contact me or your child’s Head of Learning. All contact details can be found on the school website.
Please note that the school does not automatically get made aware of anyone who is registered as a young carer and therefore, if you would like the school to know and coordinate support in school, please let either your child’s Head of Learning know or email me using the email below.
